TERM: 12 month temporary role - maternity leave coverage

At Showpass, we are always looking to strengthen our organization by adding rockstar talent to our team! We’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team who will be primarily responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding candidates to our company. The successful candidate will factor in the long-term goals of the organization and acknowledge that people play a huge role in the company’s future successes.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, 2-3 years experience in talent acquisition, proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, and the ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills as it will often be a requirement to work closely with others across different departments.


  • Help to grow and retain Showpass team using creative recruitment and retention strategies that speaks to Showpass’ unique and exciting culture and handle all recruitment activities including:
    • Discussing hiring strategy with team leads and directors
    • Sourcing, attracting and shortlisting candidates
    • Pre-screening and interviewing with hiring managers
    • Offer presentation
  • Create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Educate and guide hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with leaders and key stakeholders to enhance, align and drive the effectiveness of HR initiatives
  • Maintain employee benefits programs and assist with annual renewal of benefits including designing and conducting educational sessions on benefit programs
  • Collaborate and partner with the People and Culture team on other key deliverables such as benefits administration, onboarding, applicant tracking systems and employee engagement


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or similar
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition (recruitment) or similar
  • Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems would be considered an asset
  • Strong experience and interest in recruitment best practices and retention strategies
  • Experience scaling a company in a high growth environment
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude
