LOCATION: Calgary based candidates preferred, but open to Alberta-wide.

TERM: 12 month temporary role with the opportunity to convert to permanent.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain and build features for Showpass’ iOS Suite of Applications using RxSwift
Integrate with peripherals and external SDKs
Work closely with backend developers and UI/UX to effectively build app features
Work closely with the product team to discover and scope new projects and features
Manage app releases on App Store and Google Play
Troubleshoot and debug issues
Participate in routine standups, code reviews and testing
Write clean code in a testable, reliable and maintainable way

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

Post secondary education in Engineering or Computer Science would be an asset
Minimum 1 year experience with published apps is required
Experience with the following technologies is required: Swift, RxSwift, Circle CI, GIT
Experience with the following technologies would be an asset: React Native, Kotlin, Android Studio, Square Payment SDK, ARKit/ARCore, Apple Developer Enterprise Program
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong testing and debugging skills
Must work great in a team and also as an individual contributor
Ability to champion new ideas and develop creative approaches
Analytical thinker with the ability to problem solve
Must have the hustle and drive to take initiative and make things happen!
